IT Connected platform privacy policy

Who we are

IT Connected LLC provides a platform of virtual assistants that answer on the web, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger on behalf of accommodations and other businesses ("the business"). The business decides what the data is used for; we process it on the business's behalf and only to provide the service. The Meta app "IT Connected Chatbot" is part of this platform.

What data we process

The messages and files (photos or PDFs) you send to the business, and the replies from the assistant and the team.

The ID of your account on the channel you use (your WhatsApp number, or the ID Meta gives us on Instagram or Messenger). Your profile name is only kept if you choose it on the button that suggests it.

Your name and, if you choose to share it, your email. The email is optional and does not mean you accept promotions: that is asked separately.

If the business turned on automatic replies to comments: the text of your public comments on its posts, to reply to you privately.

If the chat came from one of the business's ads, which ad it came from (so the business knows which ad works).

We don't keep your IP address or ID document numbers.

What we use it for

To answer your questions on behalf of the business, help with bookings and payments, and hand the conversation over to a team member when needed. We don't sell your data, we don't use it for our own advertising and we don't use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Meta Platform data

What we receive from Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp is only used to handle the messages and comments you left for the business. We don't share it with anyone other than the providers that run the service, and we don't combine it with other sources.

Who we share it with

With the business you wrote to and with providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (database), Vercel (servers), Anthropic (artificial intelligence), Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger) and Odoo (emails).

How long

Files are deleted automatically (check-in documents after 30 days, everything else after 90, or whatever the business sets). Conversations are kept while the business uses the platform or as required by law. Technical error logs are deleted after 90 days.

How to delete your data

1) Ask the business in the same chat.

2) From Facebook or Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → "IT Connected Chatbot" → Remove. Meta notifies us, we delete your conversations, files, contact details and comments, and you get a link to check the status of the request.

3) Write to us: privacy@itconnected.us.

If you had a paid booking, the payment record is kept without your name or contact details, as the law requires.

Security

Data travels encrypted, business keys are stored encrypted, files only open with links that expire within minutes, and each business's team signs in with two-step verification.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent, under Brazil's LGPD, the GDPR where it applies, and the laws of your country. Contact: privacy@itconnected.us.
